I wanted to share with you my remarks on Election Night about the path forward. You can watch the speech here.

Thank you to the over 7,000 citizen donors who made this the first major campaign for Governor in modern California history that refused all special interest funding.

And thank you to the thousands of volunteers who gave our campaign a strong statewide presence in just two months, defying all expectations.

Movements of historic significance rarely achieve a total triumph on the first attempt. They also rarely come as close as we did. A month ago polls showed a tie.

Rest up, relax, recharge, and get ready. The fight for California’s future has only just begun.
