At the beginning of the year, I introduced legislation to stop federal funding for California High-Speed Rail. After months of fighting to kill the project, the decisive moment came at a hearing yesterday, when I made the case directly to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
Shortly after the hearing, Secretary Duffy and President Trump announced the project will not receive another penny, with Federal Railroad Administration making it official. Newsom then tried to troll me, but it backfired badly when I caught him using ChatGPT to write the post.
I can understand why he’s reeling. We have now reversed his High-Speed Rail funding, his gas-car ban, his free Medi-Cal for illegal immigrants, his reckless crime policies, and so much more. We continue to Newsom-Proof California and restore sanity to our state.
In other good news, the House has just passed a bill I sponsored to prohibit the Federal Reserve from issuing a Central Bank Digital Currency. This will stop the emergence of CCP-style surveillance and control that would threaten the liberty and privacy of every American.
