Join The Fight

Kevin Kiley is a Republican California Legislator fighting back against the Supermajority and Special Interests at the State Capitol and Washington D.C. Sign up for updates to be part of our growing movement, and join other Californians of patriotism, decency, and common sense who want nothing more than to save our state and our country.

A new LA Times poll shows Prop. 36, our initiative to make crime illegal again, passing by an astounding 40 percent margin. Newsom has been leading the No campaign – but to no avail.

Indeed, we are seeing a total repudiation of the reckless policies unleashed on our state. Voters are also about to overwhelmingly oust George Gascón as LA District Attorney and recall the DA for Oakland in the middle of her term.

Still, there remains plenty of insanity in Sacramento. Newsom has vetoed a bipartisan bill to hold him accountable for homelessness spending. This comes after an audit that I requested in 2022 – and Asm. Josh Hoover got approved last year – found he “lost track” of $24 billion.

Meanwhile, some great news from DC: our landmark legislation to protect Lake Tahoe has been signed into law. The Lake Tahoe Restoration Act is vital for forest management, fire protection, and preserving this national treasure. (Watch our press conference on the mountain.)

Also in DC last week, I cross-examined the head of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) about frivolous fines and actions he’s taken against SpaceX to delay its historic Starship launch. The video has now been viewed 25 million times.

Administrator Whitaker gave blatantly false testimony in response to my questions, prompting SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to call for his resignation. I’ve sent Whitaker Questions for the Record to explain his falsehoods and I rose on the House Floor to question his fitness to lead the FAA.

This episode has highlighted the bureaucratic ineptitude that is holding our country back. In this case, it’s stopping innovation and threatening our edge over China. Making our government less bureaucratic, and pro-innovation, is an urgent priority for the next Congress and Administration.

As seen in the enormous turnout for this weekend’s Get Out the Vote event, our movement for sanity continues to gain momentum. Thank you for believing that California is worth fighting for and America is worth saving.

Help our reelection get over the finish line
