Elsewhere on the path back to sanity: the Recall against the reckless district attorney in Oakland just officially qualified for the ballot. And On Monday I’m attending the Grants Pass Supreme Court case.
I’ve asked the Court, in an official Amicus Brief, to overturn disastrous 9th Circuit decisions that prevent California communities from clearing homeless encampments. This will allow common sense restrictions on camping on sidewalks, near schools, and other public spaces.

Meanwhile, yesterday I convened my Subcommittee for a hearing on stopping Biden’s anti-Independent Contractor rule, which will destroy millions of jobs. The hearing produced a stunning admission from an opposition witness, who was there to toe Biden’s line.
Finally, the Supermajority’s Senate and Assembly leader have joined Newsom in opposing the End Prop. 47 initiative. It’s a good thing their opinion doesn’t matter. Californians have taken matters into our own hands.
