Gavin Newsom is currently in South Carolina, for what is widely regarded as a “soft launch” of his delusional presidential campaign. Or, I should say, his latest delusional campaign; he of course strenuously tried – and spectacularly failed – to be the Biden Replacement last year.
Much like his “Red State tour" – which flopped badly when even local Democratic Party officials told him to go home – the Governor is getting a cold reception in the Palmetto State. But that is nothing compared to the latest fury he has provoked here California.
Yesterday, the state Department of Education informed me it is refusing to change its policy of forcing girls to compete against biological males, even after being found in blatant violation of federal civil rights laws. This disgraceful decision puts our state's federal funding at risk.
I re-joined Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher (with whom I sued Newsom in the COVID days) at the State Capitol to set forth our response. We vowed to use every tool at the state and federal level to hold Newsom accountable and protect the integrity of female sports.
In other news, President Trump has endorsed my bill, the No Tax Dollars for Riots Act, saying it "should be passed immediately." The group behind the LA riots, known as CHIRLA, received $34 million and tax-exempt status, effectively operating as a subsidiary of the Sanctuary State.
Finally, the “Big Beautiful Bill” is now law. I fought to assure the final bill gives Californians something long overdue: major tax relief. And Newsom is absolutely furious about it, continuing to lash out at me in histrionic terms.
Newsom has spent so much time on me lately, even holding a press conference in my district, that I offered to have a one-on-one debate. Unsurprisingly, he declined – preferring to keep attacking me from the safety of teleprompters and taxpayer-funded online trolls.
