Bernie Sanders and AOC are targeting me with a rally in my district. While they’re in town, I’ve invited them to tour San Francisco and Oakland to see their “utopian” vision brought to reality. I’d also remind AOC what happened last time she and I had a debate on the House Floor.

Perhaps the two socialists have been deployed against me because of our Newsom-proofing success. I've just officially introduced Resolutions to overturn Newsom's EV mandates for cars and trucks. Specifically, this will stop his attempt to ban gas-powered cars in California.

This comes as Newsom just declared the Democrat Party’s “brand” is “toxic.” I responded: It’s not just the brand, but the results – especially in the case of Newsom himself. Even an LA Times column concurred: “Instead of bashing other Democrats, Newsom needs to look inward.”

And the New York Times quoted me in a story about six new federal investigations of Newsom. Several of these we helped paved the way for:

  • When Newsom signed AB 1955, requiring schools to lie to parents about their child's "gender identity," I warned he was violating the Family Educational Rights Privacy Act.
  • I recently wrote a letter to the California Interscholastic Federation about their continued policy of allowing men to compete in women’s sports in violation of civil rights laws.
  • Our oversight hearings on the madness at universities resulted in several California administrators being fired.

Meanwhile in DC: I chaired a hearing on the topic of AI in education; pointed out the need to rein in rogue federal judges at a hearing with Newt Gingrich; and spoke on Fox News about stopping foreign adversaries from infiltrating our universities.

Finally, some great news. Newsom’s attempt to stop Huntington Beach from requiring voter ID in local elections has been rejected in court. The next step is passing a statewide voter ID initiative – just like we passed Prop. 36 by overwhelming margin.
