We won. SB 866, the bill to let minors get vaccinated without parental consent, is officially dead.
The author of the bill claimed he was only “a couple votes short.” Another Democrat legislator shot down that claim, saying: “believe me…it was more than a couple votes short!”
I’m grateful my last day at the State Capitol could bring such an important victory. As a quick reminder, today is also the last day of August and a crucial deadline for our campaign for Congress. If you haven’t had the chance yet, can you please contribute whatever you can by midnight tonight?
If we keep up the momentum, there are many more victories to come!
